The sunken ground is all that remains of the original location of the School for the Blind, at 700 N. Pennsylvania St., Indianapolis, IN 46206. The American Legion Mall stands on the location now. The Indiana World War Memorial is to the south of the former location; the Indianapolis Marion County Public Library is directly to the north.
