What do Mike Pence, Eric Holcomb, and Woody Harrelson have in common? Besides the first two men acting as the most recent Indiana governors, all three are alumni of Hanover College, a small liberal arts school nestled in the heart of the Ohio River Valley. Just a few miles south of Historic Madison, IN, Hanover College was founded in 1827 by Reverend John Finley Crowe, a Presbyterian minister, and is the oldest private college in Indiana.What began as a single brick building along the banks of the Ohio River has grown into highly successful liberal arts institution that has served the area for almost 200 years.
