Formerly the home of union leader Eugene V. Debs and his wife, Katherine Metzel Debs, the house is now the Eugene V. Debs Museum. Debs built the house in 1890. Debs was a member of the Socialist Party and made a run for the Presidency five times. Debs is most known for his work with unions in strikes for fair pay and better working conditions.
