The Indiana Theater was constructed in January 1922. This Spanish Baroque style movie palace was designed by architect John Eberson. It is believed to be the beginnings of his atmospheric theater design. The Indiana Theater was one of several downtown theaters that hosted Vaudeville stage performers in the 1920’s. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 13, 1997.
