Fairbanks Park Pool

Fairbanks Park, established in 1917, was developed from land donated to the city of Terre Haute in 1916 by Crawford and Edward Fairbanks in memory of their father and city Mayor Henry Fairbanks. The pool was constructed south of the Chauncey Rose Memorial in 1926 and continued to serve the people of Terre Haute until it was filled in and the current fountain was placed over the spot.
