Gary Land Co. Home

The Gary Land Company built 100 six-room houses of various architectural styles on scattered lots to the east of Broadway. Constructed of wood, these homes rented for $14.00-$20.00 per month. Most of these homes were occupied by American-born workers, as these structures were out of the price range of most immigrant families.
