Darke County Map

The Greenville Settlement was in German Township of Darke County, Ohio, which was named after William Darke, an officer in the American Revolution. The Clemens family was the first to purchase land in that part of the township. This land ownership map of the county shows the name James Clemens on that same land in Section Eight.
