Windle Auditorium

Completed in 1836, the impressive 2nd Presbyterian Church was designed by architect Edwin Peck. Peck was in Indiana at the time superintending construction of the original state capitol building in Indianapolis for the firm of Towne & Davis, one of America's first professional architectural firms based in New Haven, CT. It is possible Towne & Davis had a hand in the design of this building.
