This cabin is an approximation of the original cabin built here for the use of General George Rogers Clark. General Clark's younger brother, the explorer William Clark, lived here while he served in various positions in Clarksville. William Clark's personal servant, York probably stayed in this cabin as well, to tend to Clark's wishes night and day.
