After marrying the widowed Sallie Crum Moore, Louis Ulrich seems to have supported her and some of her children, including Frank Moore and his bride. Louis worked as a night watchman at the Jeffersonville Brewing Company, one of the many breweries in Southern Indiana around the turn of the century, as illustrated by this 1892 entry in Carron’s City Directory for Jeffersonville.
